MARNYS® Evening Primrose Oil is the plant-based oil with the highest Omega-6 content. Its quality is recognised by the European Pharmacopoeia (Eur. Ph.), it is 100% natural and extracted by cold-pressing Oenothera biennis seeds.
Oenothera biennis, known as Evening Primrose, is a plant native to America. This oil is mainly used given its content of essential fatty acids belonging to the omega-6 family: linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid or GLA.
MARNYS® Evening Primrose Oil contains a minimum linoleic acid content of 68% and GLA content of 10%. It also contains natural vitamin E, which contributes to cellular protection from oxidative damage (EFSA).
MARNYS® Evening Primrose Oil undergoes no high temperature processes and uses no biological solvents. Its extraction method is by cold mechanical pressing.
