MARNYS® LINE OF ESSENTIAL OILS
Plants from all over the world are used in aromatherapy. India supplies camphor, cardamom, clove, coriander, ginger, lemongrass and sandal, respectively used for their relaxing, rejuvenating, stimulating, aphrodisiac, tonifying, skin firming and regenerating properties, among others.
Ylang-ylang comes from the Comoros Islands and is used to soften skin and as face massage oil, without forgetting its aphrodisiac properties. Basil comes equally from those islands and is specially indicated for congested skin. In Spanish fields we find plants such as sage, fennel and lavender.
Humans have been using scents for over 6,000 years. Fragrances from plants and oils were already used in Neolithic age and antique civilizations such as those of Mesopotamia like Babylon. The legend tells that Cleopatra in Ancient Egypt ordered to moisten the candles of her boat with jasmine in order to attract Marco Antonio.
