Carvacrol is a polyphenol and the main bioactive constituent in Oregano. MARNYS® Organic Oregamar contains a minimum carvacrol and thymol content of 60% and 4% respectively. This product also contains olive oil whose content of monounsaturated Omega-9 fatty acids (oleic acid) is a valuable support for body well-being. Oregano is widely used as a culinary agent, and aromatic and flavouring ingredient, and in herbology, where its useful action for digestion has been documented. HOW TO USE
OREGAMAR CAPSULES: take 1 capsule a day.
OREGAMAR LIQUID: take 1 to 3 drops mixed with a little water or juice (30ml). Take between 1 and 8 times a day as needed spacing out intakes.
If oral intake exceeds 2 weeks time, intake combined with MARNYS REDUTRIM PRO is recommended.

Oregano: a spice that gives flavour and health to your meals
Origanum (oregano) species, rich in essential oils, have been used for thousands of years as a spice and in herbology as a digestant. The term hyssop (the Greek form of the Hebrew word ‘ezov‘), also called ‘za’atar‘ in Arabic and ‘origanum‘ in Latin, was first mentioned in the Bible. Origanum vulgare is an evergreen shrub with healthy properties, known locally as Jungali Tulsi, oregano or Himalayan marjoram. It is widely found in the Mediterranean areas and in North Africa. The major constituents in O. vulgare are carvacrol, thymol, r-Cymene and y-Terpinene.
How to grow an Oregano plant at home
It’s very easy… and you’ll be able to prepare your own teas! Prepare first the seedbeds or pots during the winter season, making sure the temperature is between 19 and 23ºC; germination approximately lasts for 3 weeks and even in case of frost oregano will sprout. Then use a pot of at least 30cm in depth that allows the plants to be placed at least 20cm apart. Oregano adapts easily to all types of ground, although it is recommended that the soil has got 1 part of earthworm humus or organic fertiliser, 1 part of sand and two parts of soil commonly used in gardening. Make sure the pot counts on a good drainage hole. Finally, look for a good location, taking into account that the plant needs natural light for at least 4 hours a day. For maintenance, the oregano plant doesn’t require much water, so it’s advisable to keep the soil just a little wet. Temperature will affect the aroma and flavour of the oregano plant, being more aromatic in temperate or warm climates.
