Information on MARNYS Cistomar Forte, 14 vials

Cistomar Forte is a supplement in single-dose drinkable vials, with D-Mannose, Pennywort, and American Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), that supports the overall well-being of the urinary tract. It boasts a high concentration of PACs (140 mg PACs / dose).

Properties of the Ingredients in Cistomar Forte

The properties of Knotgrass, D-Mannose, and American Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) support the overall wellbeing of the urinary tract because:

Knotgrass

The Knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare) facilitates diuresis of the urinary pathways, helps to eliminate pathogenic bacteria from the urinary tract, reduces bacterial adhesion to the urinary tract walls, and promotes wellbeing at the urinary tract level (EFSA ON HOLD 4462). The EMA monographs also recognize its utility for urinary tract care.

Cranberry

The proanthocyanidins (PACs) are flavonoids found in high concentrations in Cranberries, forming an anti-adhesive film on epithelia, being especially useful in the urinary tract.
The PACs in Cistomar Forte are measured using the BL-DMAC method, the most recognized for their evaluation, and contains a high concentration of 140 mg PACs per dose.

D-Mannose

The D-Mannose is a type of monosaccharide found in the human metabolism and is excreted in the urinary tract, where it exerts its effect. D-Mannose shares properties with the American Cranberry.

Vitamins and Minerals

The combination of vitamins C and E exert antioxidant effects, while vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of mucous tissues (i.e., urinary tract), and Zinc contributes to normal immune function.

Rosemary Concentrate

The Rosemary Concentrate, with a content of 30% Ursolic Acid, has interesting complementary actions both with the PACs and vitamin C.
