Properties of CAPILMAR active substances
Sabal
Saw palmetto or sabal extract is rich in fatty acids, which act by inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase, which can affect hair repair. Sabal helps normal hair growth and maintenance (EFSA On Hold 2341).
Collagen and keratin
They are key proteins within the structure of the hair follicle and hair. Collagen provides firmness and elasticity to the hair follicle; while keratin is the main hair protein that provides resistance, flexibility and shine to the hair.
Cystine and methionine
They are sulfur-containing amino acids that make up the structure of hair proteins. Cystine is the main amino acid of keratin and methionine favors its production. Its presence in the hair provides shine and texture.
B vitamins
Vitamins B6, B5, folate and biotin facilitate the energy metabolism of the hair follicle. Biotin participates in the hair growth process in association with cystine. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of hair under normal conditions (EFSA). The association of vitamins B6, B5 and folate favor the maintenance of keratin and the good condition of the hair follicle.
Minerals

L-Cystine, powdered concentrate of saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), zinc gluconate, L-methionine, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), hydrolyzed marine collagen [fish], anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), copper gluconate(II), hydrolyzed keratin, vitamin B5 (calcium pantothenate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B9 (folic acid), vitamin B7 (biotin), and sodium selenite.
