Camphor Essential Oil (Cinnamomum camphora) is extracted by steam distilling the bark.
MARNYS® Camphor Essential Oil is 100% pure and chemotyped, that is, it has got a defined composition and is 100% of natural origin. Camphor oil has been obtained by steam distillation and has not been denatured or mixed with other oils, what ensures the properties of the essential oil.
Camphor is a natural product from the wood of camphorated bay leaf trees (Cinnamomum camphora) and extracted by steam distillation and purification through sublimation; the trees used must be at least 50 years old.
The Camphor Tree belongs to the Family Lauraceae, is evergreen and native to Tropical Asia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Japan. It's usually over 30m high, with yellowish-brown branches and buds covered with multiple scales.
MARNYS® Camphor Essential Oil contains the chemotypes: cineole, d-limonene, α-pinene. Its colour and appearance is colourless, and it's got a characteristic, fresh intense flavour with a deep scent, properties that favour food taste.
MARNYS® Camphor Essential Oil is a food-grade oil, and according to historians in Ancient China, during the Chang Dynasty Camphor was used to flavour sweets similar to those we currently know as ice creams.

Always dilute 1-2 drops in 250g of food (juice, tea, salad, etc.). Maximum once a day.
