TO KNOW MORE
Why does the lip and nose area dry out?
Lip hydration is provided by the mechanical supply of saliva with the tongue, but it evaporates extremely quickly, especially when the natural supply of lipids is not enough, resulting in dry lips, which are more likely to become dehydrated.
Also, some external environmental factors also cause dry nose and lips, including excessive exposure to sunlight, dry and cold weather or dry indoor air; dehydration; or the intake of some medications, such as some acne treatments.
Why should you moisturise your nose and lips?
Hydrating the external area of the nose and lips daily restores the lipid barrier and prevents trans-epidermal water loss, providing the protection needed to keep the function of the skin barrier in optimal condition.
