Over 1,600 liters of milk raised for the 'Paint a Milk Mustache' solidarity campaign

  • The company MARNYS - Martínez Nieto S.A. has tripled the amount collected by its employees, and together they have managed to double last year's donation.
  • Thus, for the second consecutive year, this initiative by the Food Bank has been supported to ensure no child lacks this essential product during the summer months when school cafeterias are closed.

MARNYS raises over 1,600 liters of milk for the 'Paint a Milk Mustache' solidarity campaign

The laboratory for dietary supplements and natural cosmetics, MARNYS - Martínez Nieto S.A., has managed to raise 1,669 liters of milk for the 'Paint a Milk Mustache' solidarity campaign.

This initiative, organized by the Food Bank, aims to ensure that no child goes without this essential food on a daily basis, especially during the summer when many school cafeterias are closed.

For the second consecutive year, the company has joined this solidarity campaign by setting up milk collection points and accepting donations to purchase milk at its facilities located in the Los Camachos Industrial Estate in Cartagena.

This time, the company has tripled the amount raised by its employees and collaborators, donating more than double compared to the previous campaign.

After the campaign ended on May 15, the donated goods were delivered to the Food Bank of the Region of Murcia. Representing MARNYS - Martínez Nieto S.A, the event was attended by Mr. Roberto Martínez, CEO, and Ms. Lourdes López, CSR Manager, as well as several employees who contributed to the success of the initiative.

"We are very proud to have raised more than double the amount collected last year and to be able to continue contributing to the excellent work carried out by the Food Bank. At MARNYS, we believe that meeting basic nutritional needs is crucial for people's well-being and health, which is why we are committed to solidarity initiatives like this," stated Mr. Roberto Martínez, CEO of MARNYS - Martínez Nieto S.A.

In the words of Ms. Lourdes López from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department: "Based on our experience collaborating with this solidarity initiative, among others, we would like to encourage more companies and organizations to participate in these campaigns and involve everyone in the organization. A simple gesture for one person means a lot to the neediest families, especially the children targeted by this campaign."

This act of solidarity is part of the 'MARNYS COMMUNITY' Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which includes actions aimed at promoting equal opportunities, integration, and support for the most disadvantaged groups.
