MARNYS, patron company of the first Inter-University Chair of Innovation in the Region of Murcia

MARNYS - Martínez Nieto, S.A. has been one of the first 16 companies in the Region of Murcia to join the Inter-University Chair of Innovation, thus becoming a patron company.
The Inter-University Chair 'Murcia Innova Ecosystem' (EMURI) is the first chair that brings together the three major regional universities in the field of innovation: University of Murcia (UMU), Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), and Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM).
EMURI's Steering Committee is composed of representatives from the three universities as well as the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Universities, together with the management from the 16 leading companies in the field of innovation that are patrons of this platform.
This multidisciplinary group has already been working together since 2018, although it has recently been officially constituted as a Chair. Promote and disseminate innovation in the Region of Murcia; promote the competitiveness of the Murcian business fabric and strengthen collaboration between University, Administration and Business, are the three main objectives. Among other actions, the promotion of doctorates in companies and the bidirectional exchange between university research and business are also planned.

Innovation is a fundamental pillar for MARNYS - Martínez Nieto, S.A. Since its creation in 1968, the laboratory has been firmly committed to investment in R&D&I, to the constant training of its human, technical and logistic team and to the collaboration with scientific institutions, technological centers and different universities with research programs and chairs.
Thus, they have different R&D projects approved by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the fields of new products, process innovation and information and communication technologies.
