MARNYS main sponsor of the XIV Route of the Fortresses
- The most relevant ultratrail event in the region will once again benefit from our collaboration after years of close relationship.

As every year, we are back to collaborate in the Route of the Fortresses, the major sporting event in Cartagena promoted by the Spanish Navy along with the City Council of Cartagena, which has established itself as one of the most challenging events in the area, attracting athletes from all over the country and internationally. This collaboration in the 2025 edition is the most special to date, as MARNYS will be the main sponsor of the event, after years of close relationship.
Support for athletes from the first kilometre
We will accompany our MARNYS® dietary supplements in the runners' packs to the over 4,700 participants who will gather in this ultratrail through the most emblematic areas of the city and the peaks surrounding it, with products focused on supporting athletes' performance and recovery.
Also, as is customary, we will be present throughout the day on 4th April during the collection of bib numbers, where our team will welcome the participants and provide them with support and information. Furthermore, on 5th April, during the race, our presence will be key to accompany runners in their effort towards the finish line.
A unique route in a historic setting
The Route of the Fortresses of Cartagena is one of the most notable ultratrail events in the whole country, with participants also coming from abroad. With a route of 53 kilometres in the general event, it starts from Paseo de Alfonso XII, passing by the port and traversing the batteries that line the coast, castles, and the most representative hills of the city.

Since our beginnings at MARNYS, supporting sport has been one of the main pillars of MARNYS, continuously collaborating in local sporting events, clubs, and athletes. Our concern for health and wellbeing is reflected in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plan, specifically in the MARNYS HEALTHY Programme, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 "Health and Wellbeing".
This programme encompasses all the actions supported by the company aimed at promoting wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle, thus encouraging good habits related to sport and balanced nutrition. Additionally, we share with the Route of the Fortresses its charitable nature, as all proceeds from the race are donated to charity organisations, reaffirming our commitment to making a positive impact on the community.
