Based on our commitment to the environment, MARNYS - MARTÍNEZ NIETO, S.A., has achieved certification to ISO 14001:2015, an international environmental management standard aimed at reducing environmental impact and contributing to the protection of the environment.

This achievement has been a result of having an Environmental Management System (EMS) implemented and audited in accordance with international environmental standards. Thus, the ISO 14001:2015 Certification ensures that our environmental actions are appropriate and that in our company, sustainable development, environmental conservation and commitment to our environment are the key factors.

Since the beginning of the year, the company has also renewed other key certifications concerning the development of the business activity in terms of quality and food safety of their products, such as the IFS FOOD (version 6.1), the GMP according to the FDA 21 CFR Part 111 regulation regarding the manufacturing control of their products, along with the international regulation ISO 9001:2015.


In July this year, the company also obtained the Class A Energy Efficiency Certificate for the facilities, as a result of the expansion and reform of the premises together with the photovoltaic panel installation.

Thanks to photovoltaic energy with a power output and consumption of 1,250,000 Kwh/year, CO2 emissions have been reduced by 430 tonnes a year, thus reducing the consumption of Non-Renewable Primary Energy by 36%, with up to 3 million Kwh/year.
