Mr. José Martínez Nieto receives the Honourable Mention for his Business Career
The President and Founder of MARNYS® - Martínez Nieto, S.A., has been awarded by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia (AJE).
The President and Founder of MARNYS® - Martínez Nieto, S.A., Mr. José Martínez Nieto, has received the "Honourable Mention for his Business Career", granted by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia (AJE).
The award was presented to him during the XXII CaixaBank Young Entrepreneurs 'Heroes' Award Gala, held on 1 October at the El Batel Auditorium and Conference Centre in Cartagena, and broadcast by the regional television channel 7 TV Región de Murcia.
In his applauded speech, Mr. José Martínez Nieto addressed the young entrepreneurs and urged them to "think about the present, but do not forget the future". He also thanked his wife, his children and his team of collaborators for accompanying him and helping him through so many years of business career. Martínez Nieto explained how he started his company with "a vision, thinking that everyone likes to look after themselves, and if you can look after yourself naturally, much better".
A visionary business career
In his presentation video, Mr. José Martínez Nieto, looks back at the origins of his working life when, after finishing his studies as a commercial teacher, he decides to emigrate to Germany at the beginning of the 1960s.
In August 1968 he founded Martínez Nieto, S.A., beginning in the honey and pollen sector of Spanish origin. "Then I started to bring royal jelly to Spain and we had 3 or 4 products, and now we have 400", says Mr. José Martínez Nieto.
