MARNYS - Martinez Nieto S.A. has received the Gold Medal from the Santa Teresa Hospitality Foundation. This award recognizes the support that the natural dietary supplements and cosmetics laboratory has been providing to the charitable institution for years.
The President and Founder of MARNYS, Mr. José Martínez Nieto, received the distinction from Ms. Raquel Cancela, General Secretary of the Ministry for Women, Equality, LGBTI, Families, Social Policy, and Transparency of the Region of Murcia. The ceremony took place during the celebration of the Foundation's patron saint, Santa Teresa de Jesús. A thanksgiving Eucharist was held in the auditorium, followed by the presentation of gold medals to individuals and institutions that have distinguished themselves in 2022 for their support and collaboration with the Foundation.
The Santa Teresa Hospitality Foundation is a charitable institution that provides shelter, food, and hygiene services to homeless people and transient individuals in Cartagena and the surrounding area since 1916. It operates a social dining room that serves approximately 250 people per day, and about 700 people come to collect mainly cooked food.
Social commitment is one of the pillars of MARNYS - Martinez Nieto S.A. Within its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plan, the company has the MARNYS COMMUNITY program, which encompasses initiatives aimed at supporting the most disadvantaged groups, as well as efforts to promote dialogue, equal opportunities, and socio-occupational integration, primarily within the local community.
