We reinforce our support for ASTRAPACE in the III Solidarity Valentine's Day
- We are once again organising the traditional fundraising through the sale of decorated pencils and plants among all employees.
- The initiative is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility programme ‘MARNYS Community’, which promotes actions aimed at supporting vulnerable groups.
For the third consecutive year, and due to the great reception this initiative has received in previous years, MARNYS demonstrates its more charitable side by celebrating Valentine's Day with the traditional fundraising in aid of the ASTRAPACE association, the Association for the Treatment of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Related Pathologies.
This year, the company has once again organised the sale among all employees and collaborators of pencils decorated with hearts made by members of the association, as well as cacti and succulents, achieving significant participation. These plants, in addition to beautifying spaces, carry a message of solidarity.
The initiative ‘Solidarity Valentine’s Day’ has helped to strengthen the bonds between employees, who have shared a special moment decorating their workplaces with the purchased plants and actively participating in the initiative. “The involvement of our employees is always incredible”, says Lourdes López, the company’s CSR manager. “It’s exciting to see how this action, which started three years ago, has become a tradition that fosters camaraderie while allowing us to support such an important cause.”
The funds raised will be allocated to support ASTRAPACE's projects, an association dedicated to the treatment and improvement of the quality of life for persons with cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disorders, among other conditions. This action is part of the programme of Corporate Social Responsibility ‘MARNYS Community’, which promotes actions aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and fostering inclusion and equal opportunities. The initiative reflects MARNYS’s commitment to the community, consolidating our work as a socially responsible company that places people at the centre of its values.
