The strength is the quality that allows us to reach far, beyond the horizon that our eyes can see, where we had no certainty that it would be possible.
Perhaps there is nothing more than testing our system, as a whole, as endurance sports. Our body is forced to reach the limit of its aerobic capacity; the heart has to pump faster; the respiratory system increases the volume of air and the muscular system maintains the resistance until the end of the journey.
All those sports whose extent is longer than the hour of duration subject us to these factors, either because we have decided to reach the top of the mountain, or the end of the race.
