Bee pollen is one of the most energizing substances of the beehive. Bees take pollen from flowers, form pellets with them and store them in their beehive, in cells that have been specially built for that purpose. This pollen is also strengthened with the nectar with which honey is made, and this increases its nutritional properties and health benefits. Pollen contains proteins (nearly all essential amino acids) and is the biggest known source of vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates.
